Know Before You Go
There are a couple of things which are good to know before you come stay at Branscome Gård.
Grocery Stores, Alcoholic Beverages & more
As the gård (homestead) is located in the country side it makes sense to plan in a grocery store visit. There are a number of grocery stores which take around 20 minutes to drive to.
Also, in Sweden alcoholic beverages above 3.5% for home consumption are only sold at Systembolaget and the opening times are somewhat strict. The stores are usually open on all between 10am and 7pm weekdays, but close at 2pm or 3pm on Saturdays and are closed on Sundays. Click here for more information on specific opening times.

Restaurants are also not super close, a great lunch place is around 16 minutes drive and a nicer dinner place around 22 mins (Local Recommendations).
To make it a little easier click below to see our our recommended grocery stores and Systembolaget locations (as well as a number of other recommendations).
Allemansrätten
One good thing to know is that Sweden has "The Right of Public Access," or "Allemansrätten," which allows everyone to explore the country's stunning nature. If you're concerned about accidentally wandering onto private land, there's no need to worry. As a general rule, just avoid gated areas and private gardens. For more detailed information, you can check out the link below.
When you arrive
Park anywhere on the driveway that is not restricting access to the garage doors or entrance gate.
